Justplay soccer5/7/2023 ![]() The WSA will be launching their indoor soccer league at the new Spark Centre over the winter months. Partnering with the Newcomers Service just made sense for the organization, as they hold the same mission and values and provides Weyburn Soccer another stream to reach children and adults who want to play soccer. As well, one of their values is inclusiveness, and it is a priority for the club to make soccer accessible for all. Weyburn Soccer’s mission is to cultivate an inclusive and welcoming community by developing great people through the love and spirit of the game. "Yes because I think it informs and prepares an individual for a future experience in college soccer.The Weyburn Soccer Association announced a new community partnership with the Southeast Newcomers Service – Weyburn Branch, a new program called “Just Play!”. I will recommend it to my teammates on my team and tell them this camp helps dramatically." "Yes I already did last year and he is here this year. "Yes, I went to the Adidas Camp you could just get lost in the crowd, here you didn’t." This is all extremely helpful knowledge and that is why I would recommend this camp to anyone interested in playing college soccer." Camp offered more than just pure soccer knowledge, it expanded to the mental game of soccer and the behind the scenes work it takes to be successful. There were great extra sessions as well such as the yoga, and leadership presentation. "Yes, because it is a great chance to get recruited and learn about the process of recruiting as well as participating in that same process. On top of that, the facilities are clean and comfortable, the campus is beautiful and tidy, and the soccer is both competitive and constructive." "I would, because this camp has been far better than any other ID camps I have attended. You get an experience not only in college soccer, but you get to see what everyday life is going to be like in college." Also, it really feels like you are at college for 4 days. "Yes because there are a lot of coaches here which provides a great space to get yourself out there. "I would recommend it to my friends because of the exposure it grants them to colleges around the area and because the camp is enjoyable to attend. Also, it’s a great way to get ready for the high school season and get noticed by more college coaches than any other camp I’ve been at." "Yes, I would recommend this camp to one of my teammates because the competition was great and the players and coaches were all involved with each and everyone’s success which helped me a lot. "I would recommend the camp to a town or club teammate, because it is a great opportunity to play with some new competition and, in the case of a town teammate, a good opportunity to prepare for preseason." ![]() The amount of work we do during the camp really weeds out who is dedicated and wants it, and who will just lay back and take the easy route." By the end of the camp you can tell who the real quality guys are. "The competitive atmosphere, and the amount of chances we had to prove ourselves. It is also very nice to have college coaches varying from d 1-3 giving us evaluations of our playing and what we can improve on." "The training sessions were very in depth and worked us hard. I also enjoyed the right fit presentation and was able to learn a lot." ![]() I really enjoyed the leadership presentation and having confidence in your play. It was a good way to get your fitness up and higher level of play to get ready for the high school season. "I enjoyed the facilities here at Endicott and also enjoyed having lots of experienced coaches watching. Previous camps I went to the coaches weren’t allowed to talk to any players but here it was encouraged." The campus is very nice and the dorms are too. "I liked that there were a lot more coaches here and they were much more approachable than other camps I’ve been to. I also like how there were plenty of opportunities to play competitive full sided games." " I liked how the college coaches seemed engaged in the entire process throughout all 4 days of camp.
